Fry_laser: 81 - 129 / 0 - 120 Good match.Started off very close,but -FLH- managed to cap a few more,so they won... Well done and a pleasure playing against -FLH- eventhough we had to postpone a few times. More about the match here. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tuesday August 17th 2004 [:] vs -xS- 55: 30 - 90 / Monkey_l: 30 - 60 Just before the match we found out that our map 55 was different from TFM's map 55,so I had to upload it to our server to get to know the different layout,that had more changes than I thought/hoped.We had to get to know the map at WsK's server where we had to play,but we didn't do a bad job :) More about it here. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Monday August 9th 2004 [:] vs [HA] 2kfort4: 0 - 10 0 / Chimkey_l: 20 - 80 The first TFM season 6 war for us.We skipped season 5 due to member problems,but now we're trying to stay active for at least this season. We started off with a match against [HA].Nice clean match,but we lost.No surprise,since some members knew this clan already and said it was more a division 1 clan (we play division 2). At least we capped the flag twice in Chimkey_l :) More comments here.. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wednesday Nov. 5th [:] vs [WsK] Waterfall2_tfcl: 0 - 160 / Well: 0 - 90 (Loss) Our first TFM season 4 war.Unfortunately about 12 clans folded by the end of season 3,so now TFM has only one division left..We had always been division 2,but now we're in division 1. We had to play against [WsK] who have several division 1 and premier league players. No surprise that we lost..Too bad it's not the old [WsK] anymore..Fair play has become midmapping and backtracking :( ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tuesday Sept. 30th [:] vs [COV] Fry_baked: 50 - 90 / Fatal: 10 - 50 (Loss) Last TFM war of this season..This war had been postponed several times and now it was finally time to play!We had a very good match.No lameness or anything,just a good atmosphere. Everybody played very well and [COV] managed to beat us (we're getting used to losing). Well done [h4x]!And [-CAT-]elvis2049 thanks for helping us out :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tuesday August 5th [:] vs [WsK] Fry_laser: 42 - 112 / Sublime_b1: 0 - 140 (Loss) We have some thoughts about the game,since [WsK] was not only midmapping,but they were even defending their flag when our team had taken it to our base.When the flag was lying in front of our base,they waited at our doorstep for us to come out and shoot us!Very unfair!It is however not forbidden,but it is discouraged to do so.What's wrong with everybody?Some clans ([DSH],[h4x]) make it difficult to arrange a match and when a clan is easygoing,like [WsK],they are midmapping and defending at the enemy base :/ Grrrrrr ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Friday July 18th [:] vs [DSH] Fry_morfort: 10 - 0 / Deride-wtftfc: 10 - 0 (Default win) [DSH] did not show up in time and more clans had problems with them,so we asked for a default win. TFM admins preferred that we would reschedule,but last week we were told that [DSH] left the league. So we got a default win after all (although we prefer a played game instead of defaults). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thursday July 10th [:] vs [DEX2] TFM5v5 Mulch_faf: 40 - 50 / Fry_complex: 120 - 90 (Draw) This was an amazing match!Very exciting from the very start until the very last second,in which we were carrying the flag,but couldn't manage to take it back home in time...[DEX2] played their asses off and so did we!Both clans eager to win.Surprisingly our trainingsefforts finally pay off! For me that was the limit.We left and had some unpleasant words at mirc.SO2 is all about name- calling,cheating,laming..How is it possible jerks like that still manage to stay alive??Beats me :/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Monday april 28th. [:] vs [ROB] Friendly firefortress: 20-240 / fry_complex: 100-130 (Loss) Very good match![ROB] is the TFM season 2 winner (div.2) and we met before,so we knew we wouldn't win,but resistance would at least be painful for them :p.Firefortress was piece of cake for these old bastards and they managed to bring the score to a 240-20 for them...Now:fry_complex..what a match!! We started off with about 4-0 caps,but soon [ROB] was all over the place,destracting me (demoman) and pushing the button over and over again.Too bad for them that [:] is always alert and so I blew them to kingdom come over and over again,assisted by [:]Nightfly and [ScooP] who did a great job too! Meanwhile [:]Weardo and [:]Marsz were spamming [ROB]'s old people's home err base and took their flag,leaving [ROB]'s defence behind,disabled in their wheelchairs (maybe some rusty wheels?). It was a very sporty match.Fun,excitng..what else could we wish.Total score 120-370.Deserved win for the Retired Old Bastards.Don't let them fool you with their name!They're far from retired lol Thanks again for the great game [ROB] ! [STR] had about 3 to 4 offence players.No matter what we tried,they stole our flag,concing in and out :( They were too strong for us.Some say they used scripts,but I didn't notice and HL-Guard didn't detect anything.so if any scripts were used,they were 'legal.. .If this league is all Division 1,then we won't stand a chance.We play without scripts,but it seems you can only get Division1 WITH scripts.. What happened to the good old times when we played on skills only? After our war,[WsK] played a war vs [SO2].They did amazingly well with a 40-20 win on Shutdown2 and a 80-80 on Stowaway!Good job guys... [WsK]informed us of them having joined TFM too :p Might be a day we have to face eachother lol... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Monday March 3rd ,we played a friendly war vs [WP].It was an easy win for them :/ They had all engineers in defence..If that's how you have to win a war??Openfire_lowgrens 90-10,I forgot to take a screenie of the second map.Believe it was Mulch_trench.Anyway,we lost.. :( ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wednesday March 5th we played a UKTFCl war vs [UEA] from the UK.Openfire_l was a real close match!Each team was capping right after the other team capped. It went on and on until the last 3 seconds!We thought we were winning with a 50-40, but in the last couple of seconds (!) [UEA] managed to cap our flag again and made it a 50-50...Very close match,very good job!Roasted was something else:We managed to cap one time and [UEA] capped 6 times.But since it was a very sporty clan and a very close match,it wasn't so bad after all.We had a good game. Nice job [UEA] !!No problem warring again some day :-) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunday February 2nd we were asked to play a friendly against [Jup-kf],but what a bunch of idiots!We didn't talk about class-limits,but 5 offence medics and 2 offence soldiers and a HW on the bridge?????Grrrrrrrrrr We tried to keep it fair,but even the ppl from [:] started to pick all kinds of classes. Flagroom was uncovered at times,some moments they were all offence OR all defence. .pffffffff Not really sportsmanship from [Jup-kf].. Everybody is talking about no snipers,no BT,no bridge-DM etc,but it seems you may use unlimited numbers of the same class!That's not fair when you want it to be a fair game. Was fun after all. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- January 26th [Wsk] played vs [HA] Score:(report by [WsK]) Mulch_trench 370-50 Loss Roasted_l 290-0 Loss Active players: Pred, ShiT_HaPPeNS, Devil, Bad, Rammi, Grimmie, Rinus & SilaS Comments: Well we where challenged by one of the best CB clans so we ordered the vass. First map was Mulch_trench. We played 4 off and 4 deff like we do allways now. Me and Rammi (deff players) did go offence in this war.The result was not so bad considdering the opponent. We lost but managed to get 5 caps too. Second map was roasted_l. This map didn'tgo like i extpected to. They had 2 HW's and it was almost impossible for us to break their defense. I think i may have a solution.Gonne test it in next war.Well it was fun even if we have lost but HA is a nice clan and it was a clean fight. We ended the year with a some wars on a row,including an official war for [WsK]. Some moments it was close,other moments we got the kicked ass and there was one win vs SO2: 60-50 & 40-20 ! Good work!Sunday 5th we play a new map:"Arise"; a huge map.See if we can beat [Jupiler] there.. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- December 22nd we played a friendly against [DSH].We had a very good match, althoug (again) people were backtracking..We lost with 60-50 in Openfire_l and 20-0 in Shutdown2..Very nice match! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
